(“BELKA” or “Company”) as the data controller, pursuant to Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”) and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. Your personal data specified above may be processed by BELKA proportionally to the purposes for which you disclose these data and for the purposes listed below, within the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 4, 5, and 6 of the Law:

  • Tracking Requests/Complaints;
  • Carrying Out After-Sales Support Services of Goods/Services;
  • Carrying Out Marketing Processes of Products/Services;
  • Creating and Tracking Visitor Records
  • Recipients and Purposes of Transfer of Processed Personal Data
The collected personal data of the website visitor may be transferred, in line with the realization of the above-mentioned purposes and limited to fulfilling these purposes, to BELKA Group Companies, our business/solution partners, shareholders, suppliers, legally authorized public/private institutions and private persons or organizations, and third parties, limited to the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law and for the purposes specified above, and may be processed domestically or abroad.
  • Methods and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data
BELKA collects personal data directly from the website visitor, via e-mail, post, website, fax, notifications from administrative and judicial authorities, and other communication channels, in audio, electronic, or written form, based on the following legal grounds specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law:
  • The process in which we process your personal data is explicitly stipulated in the laws (e.g.; keeping log records related to explicit consent when contacting via the website)
  • Your sharing of your personal data (e.g.; sharing your information by contacting our Company)
  • Being necessary to process your personal data, provided that it is directly related to establishing a contractual relationship with you or fulfilling our obligations arising from this contract (e.g.; sharing your address information with the shipping company in order to deliver the products we sold to you under the contract)
  • Situations where we are obliged to fulfill our legal obligations (e.g.; sharing information with authorized public institutions)
  • Our obligation to process data in order to grant, exercise, or protect a right (e.g.; recording your information in order for our company to respond to your requests and complaints)
  • The necessity of processing your data without harming your fundamental rights and freedoms (e.g.; processing log records and IP addresses)

Within this scope, personal data subjects have the following rights: (i) to learn whether personal data are processed, (ii) to request information if personal data are processed, (iii) to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with the purpose, (iv) to know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad, (v) to request correction if personal data are incompletely or incorrectly processed, (vi) to request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law, (vii) to request notification of the operations carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred, (viii) to object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems, (ix) to demand compensation in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data. As personal data subjects, in order to state your requests regarding your rights and to exercise your rights over your personal data, you can fill in the “Application Form for Data Subjects” accessible from the BELKA Website and send your related requests, such as necessary changes, updates, and/or deletion, to BELKA’s official e-mail address belka@belka.com.tr. If you submit your requests to us through the specified methods, the Company will finalize your request free of charge as soon as possible and within at most thirty days, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged by the Company in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
